I. Abraham1 Jones was born circa 1804 at Hampshire County, West Virginia, USA. (Based on the 1850 census his birth

Abraham Jones married Eleanor Cooksey, daughter of Leven Cooksey and Ann White, on 14 February 1828 at
Fauquier County, Virginia, USA. Bond was posted 9 Feb 1828. The bondsmen were Abraham Jones & Shelton
Thompson. Leven Cooksey, her father gave his permission for the marriage. the minister was James Withers a Baptist
